Buzzday Support
Write to us any time at support@buzzday.app. Tell us your phone model, the Buzzday version (You → Settings → Version) and what you tried, and we answer within two working days. Ideas are welcome too: the beta is shaped by what testers tell us.
Joining the beta
- iPhone: install TestFlight from the App Store, then open our invite link on your phone and tap Install.
- Android: open our download link on your phone and install Buzzday. If your phone asks, allow installing apps from your browser or Google Drive for this one time.
- Beta versions can have bugs. Please tell us what went wrong, with a screenshot if you can.
My reminders do not ring
- Open your phone's Settings → Notifications → Buzzday and make sure notifications are allowed, with sound.
- Android 12 and later: Settings → Apps → Special app access → Alarms & reminders → Buzzday → Allow, so reminders ring on time.
- Samsung: Settings → Apps → Buzzday → Battery → choose Unrestricted. Also check that a notification sound is set for each SIM.
- Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO: Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Buzzday → Battery saver → No restrictions, and turn on Autostart.
- Vivo: Settings → Battery → Background power consumption management → Buzzday → Allow. Then turn on Autostart for Buzzday (i Manager → App manager → Autostart).
- iPhone: a Focus mode (Sleep, Work) can hide alerts. Add Buzzday to the allowed apps for that Focus. Also check that Buzzday is not in Scheduled Summary (Settings → Notifications → Scheduled Summary), which holds alerts back until a set time.
Place alerts do not work
- Place alerts need location set to Allow all the time (iPhone: Always) with Precise location turned on. iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Buzzday. The Nearby page shows a reminder when this is not set.
- The errand needs a kind of place, for example "buy medicine" (pharmacy) or "post a letter" (post office). Open the task to see or change its place. If you name a store chain ("return clothes to Walmart"), Buzzday looks for that chain only.
- On Android, an app swiped away from the recent apps list cannot get place alerts. Leave Buzzday open in the background, and set its battery use to Unrestricted as above.
- Low Power Mode or Battery Saver can delay place alerts.
- Alerts come at most once per errand a day, and only near places that are open at that time.
- Buzzday Free covers up to 3 errands with a place at a time; Plus has no limit.
- On the Nearby map, tap a shop or Open in Maps to see it, with directions, in your map app.
- Place details come from OpenStreetMap and can be wrong (for example opening hours). Tell us if a place is missing or closed.
Buzzday does not hear me
- Allow the microphone for Buzzday in your phone's settings. On iPhone, also allow Speech Recognition.
- Tap the mic, speak, then tap it again to finish.
- Understanding what you said needs an internet connection. Without one you can still type your task.
- If Buzzday gets a date, time or amount wrong, tap the card to fix it before you save.
Where is my data? What about a new phone?
Your tasks stay on your phone only, so we cannot see them and they do not move to a new phone by themselves. If you restore your whole phone from an iCloud or Google backup, your tasks may come back with it. Deleting the app deletes them. Buzzday Plus comes back on a new phone with Restore purchase (You → Settings → Restore purchase), using the same Apple or Google account.
How do I cancel Buzzday Plus?
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Buzzday → Cancel subscription.
- Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Buzzday → Cancel.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. To ask for one: iPhone at https://reportaproblem.apple.com, Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history.
Circles
- Invite: open Circle, tap the invite card, then Share invite (WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger…) or Text message. They tap the link to join, or open Circle → New → Join with a code in Buzzday and type the 6-letter code. Anyone with the code can join, so share it only with people you trust.
- Buzzday Free includes 1 circle of up to 3 people and 3 voice cheers a week; Plus has more.
- Remove someone: the person who started the circle can tap a person in the circle and choose Remove from circle. The circle then gets a new invite code.
- Report misuse: tap the person, or Report under a voice cheer. This opens an email to us with the details filled in, and we look at every report within 24 hours.
- Leave: leaving a circle removes you from it. When the last person leaves, the circle and everything in it are deleted.
- Delete what you shared: You → Settings → Circles → Delete my circle data deletes your name, the tasks you sent and your voice cheers from our server right away.
Delete everything
1. If you have Plus, cancel it in your store account first. 2. If you used Circles: You → Settings → Circles → Delete my circle data. 3. Delete the app to remove all your tasks from your phone.
